Conference Venue

The main conference venue will be at:

The conference will be held at the Polytechnic School at the University of São Paulo.  It is known as Poli (as in paw-lee).

Panels will be held in two buildings - the Civil Engineering School is known as Poli Civil (as in paw-lee, see-veel).

Plenary sessions will be held at the Auditorium of the Polytechnic Administration Building. It is know as Poli Administração (as in paw-lee, ad-mee-nees-tra-ssao).

 

Important Dates

October 6, 2010: Registration for the conference opens.
November 12, 2010: Deadline to register  and be included in the printed program.
November 12, 2010: Deadline  for co-authors who will not be attending the conference to notify the Secretariat.
November 15, 2010: Registration fee increases.

*Requires proof of student status at the time of registration.

Proof of Student Status

This refers to an official document from the education institution showing that the registrant is a full-time student of Political Science or a related subject. Please email scanned document to saopaulo2011@ipsa.org or fax to +1-514-848-4095.

Cancellation Policy

Cancellations received by email at saopaulo2011@ipsa.org and confirmed by November 12, will be refunded 50 percent of the total registration fee for the participant's category. Cancellations received after November 12 will not be refunded. If you cannot attend the conference, please send your cancellation notice as soon as possible, to allow your co-panellists to find a replacement paper in time.

Payment Methods

All participants must complete the online registration form by the deadlines mentioned above. Payment will be accepted by PayPal. Registrants do NOT require a PayPal account. Those without a PayPal account will be asked to provide a credit card number. PayPal account holders may opt to debit their registered bank account directly. Registrants unable to use the PayPal system may send a check in US dollars (other currencies and cash will NOT be accepted) to:
